XRIG SG13 Liquid Cooled Portable PC – Review

Getting a portable PC in India has always been a drag. Most portable PC Makers are forced to pay heavy import duties and taxes making compact systems that much harder to sell in India. Thankfully some PC manufacturers have taken the pioneering work of manufacturing portable systems in India. Although they are still a bit on the expensive side. They are definitely much more reasonable compared to international brands. So today we are reviewing XRIG SG13 Liquid Cooled Portable PC.

Inspite of being a small package it packs quite a strong punch with Ryzen 5 3600 and RTX 3060 12GB Graphics Card. If you are a gamer on the go then this system is surely a great choice for you. The price tag at the time of writing is 1.2 lakh Rs. Making it quite a good deal considering the size and the Nvidia RTX 3060 Card.

XRIG SG13 Performance Review:

When it comes to perfromance it doesn’t shy one bit due to the combined power of Ryzen 5 and RTX 3060. Now you may think due to its small size it may have cooling issues but that’s not the case. Inspite of the small form factor this mini gaming beast comes with liquid cooling which is much better than the traditional air cooling. Making it cooler as well as quieter than most systems.

Thanks to the liquid cooling inside this mini beast it performs amazing well when compared to full fledged systems in the same price range. Unless you place it in a really hot place you won’t have any heating issues as far as we noticed.

The small form factor makes it perfect for gamers on the go who don’t like the perfromance of the laptops. Though I won’t recommend this to daily travels obviously. But if you travel once a month than this pc is definitely more useful than a gaming laptop. I mean for gamers power is everything. So it makes a lot of sense.

We were able to get in-depth assembly of the XRIG SG13 system thanks to our friends at XRIG. Here is how this baby looks like from the inside:

Inside XRIG SG13

As you can see the system is pretty compact which limits upgradability which can become a con incase you want to fit a bigger RTX in this Mini Machine. Nevertheless I can definitely say that this is one of the best portable gaming systems in India under the 1.2 Lakh Rs Range.

This system is perfect from streamers since you can play Valorant as well as CS;GO in Max Settings. Battleroyale Games such as PUBG PC and COD Warzone can be played at Max settings in 1080p only. Anything higher than that you would have to lower the settings to Medium or High in order to maintain a high FPS in higher resolutions like 2K and 4K.

Thats all folks. These was our review of the latest XRIG SG13.
