So to help those fellow gamers fix lag in modern combat 5 here are:

Best Graphics settings for Modern Combat 5

To do this, go to game settings and edit the following options:

Render Scale: 70% for phones 100% for tablets

Render scale deals with the resolution at which the game is rendered on your mobile device. For the best quality, you need the highest rendering resolution. However, for mobile devices, since the screen is smaller in size, higher resolutions have minimal impact on graphics. By lowering the render resolution, you get a huge boost to fps. Boosting FPS helps you fix lag in the game.

For tablets or phones with a very large screen I recommend 100% render scale to that you get great gaming experience.

FPS LIMIT: 60

Lag is a result of either packet loss, which results in network lag and FPS drop, which results in device lag. To enjoy truly lag-free gameplay experience you need constant 60 fps while playing the game. So set the FPS limit at 60.

GFX Quality: Better Performance

if you need the best FPS, then you need to set this setting to better performance. There are no fine control settings for this. But better performance gives the best performance and graphics balance according to me. For low-end devices, this is the only option.

You can set the settings to medium if you have a good device.

SSAO: Off

SSAO stands for Screen space ambient occlusion. This setting is used for ambient occlusion and is useful only if you have a gaming phone with a high-quality screen. Not recommended if your specs are low. So turn it off.

BLOOM: off

Adds light effects. Not useful in any way. Actually causes problems while spotting enemies. So turn it off. Boost FPS and get easy kills. It’s as simple as that.

If you are still facing a lot of lag in modern combat 5 in spite of all optimizations, then you need to set render scale to 40%. This has a high impact on quality, but if you have a low-end phone and you just have to play modern combat 5 online, then there are no other alternatives.

What else can you do to fix lag in Modern Combat 5?

If you are getting a network lag, then try boosting your wifi network for gaming with this guide.

Since it is a mobile game, there is not much you can do to fix the lag. However, you can use the following guides to boost the performance of your mobile device so that overall you get a better gaming experience on your android device. An IOS guide is not available at the moment. If you put everything to max settings, your device might heat up. So don’t do that. If your game is still lagging, then try to turn your phone into a gaming phone.

That’s all folks I hope you liked this guide for settings in Modern Combat 5 to fix the lag. If you have any questions, do let us know in the comment section below. Do share the post with fellow gamers and subscribe to the notifications to get daily updates.

    • Try repairing and reinstalling the game. If it still doesn’t work then contact the support team. It may be a driver compatibility issue with the game. They will usually fix it but it will take some time.
